A. High Frequency:

1. Apply Miller’s theorem to resistor 𝑹𝑭 in Fig.1 and estimate the voltage gain. Assume λ=0.

2. In the CS stage of Fig.2 Determine the poles of the circuit and the transfer function in the high
frequency band.

3. Fig. 3 illustrates a cascade of two identical CS stage. Neglecting the other capacitances find the poles
and the transfer function in the high band.

4. For the circuit shown in Fig.4 determine the gain and the high frequency

B. Low Frequency:

1. MOSFET amplifier of Fig.5 is biased at 𝐼𝐷 = 1.06 𝑚𝐴 and has 𝑔𝑚 = 0.725 𝑚𝐴/𝑉 and
𝑟𝑜 = 47 𝑘Ω. The midband gain V0/Vin =-3.3.and 𝑅𝑖𝑛 = 2.33 𝑀Ω. Find the values of the two capacitors
so that the low-frequency response is dominated by a pole at 10 Hz with the other pole at least a
decade lower. (Hint: In determining the pole due to capacitor 𝐶𝑐2, resistance 𝑅𝐺 can be neglected.)
