Objective

Deforestation is one of the most serious issues confronting our generation around the world.
Deforestation is directly related to climate change because burning organic material emits a large
amount of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas. Forests are being cut down all over the world to make
way for agricultural fields and housing. On a global scale, intentional fires are set to clear the forest,
and illegal logging occurs.

Both developing and developed countries are concerned about logging. This is common in Romania.
Despite the fact that logging is regulated in Romania, much of the industry is conducted illegally.
Romania accounts for 65 percent of Europe's virgin forests, but they are rapidly disappearing due to
deforestation. In Malaysia, Sarawak has long suffered from deforestation, with illegal logging playing
a significant role. In 2015, it is estimated that approximately 35% of all timber produced in Malaysia
was produced illegally. In Sarawak, however, only about 10,000 m 3 of illegal timber was seized in
2012. The majority of the cutting is done with chainsaws, which produce a lot of noise.

Therefore, we have created a product which receive the sound of chainsaw and analyse the
frequency of it and finally it informs to the authorities.
