II. COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course aimed to enable students with advanced skills in statistical analysis covering
both descriptive and inferential statistics, computational and programming tools such as
R or Octave, applications of elementary statistical methods, data exploration, graphics
and data visualization. The application of programming languages for statistical
computing will be applied in basic and advanced case studies and concepts as an
opportunity for advanced learning experience.
