Introduction
This final project's purpose of obtain a strategy for tourism promotion of the Pasir Tiku
beach attractions that will be carried out as good potential tourism in the future within e-
brochure strategy campaign promotion. The results showed that the strategy of Pasir
Tiku Beach tourism object consisted of (1) beauty nature resources (2) tourism potential
food and beverage (3) facilities and infrastructure tourism (4) community fisherman
village (5) establish cooperation with the government and community

The Background Information


Indonesia has wonderful natural wealth. Because of its natural beauty, Indonesia has
become a tourist destination that is much coveted by both local and international travelers
worldwide. The total area of the Indonesian ocean is broader than its land. Indonesia's
land area is 1.91 million km2, while the area of oceans is 6.279 million km2. With such
widespread, Indonesia kept many natural resources on land and beautiful under the sea.
No wonder if Indonesia has many wonderful spots especially in the sector of the beach.
Aside from that, there are some beach tourism was really beautiful in the West Sumatera
has tremendous potential as the primary tourist attraction besides Padang Beach,
Pariaman Beach, Pagang Island, or Pasumpahan Island. It is located in Agam Regency
called Pasir Tiku Beach. This beach has white sand two natural islands: magnificent
views, coast tropical country summer vibes, and Tiku traditional food. This is worthy of
being known by many people by making e-brochure and distributing it through an online
platform with an audience that can reach many people to promote this Tiku beach tourist
attraction.

The Problem and Its Significance


- The Problem
Tiku Beach is located in Agam Regency, where this existence is the source of the main
problem that many people don't know about the existence of this tourism. People know
Agam Regency itself as one of the regencies in West Sumatra, which has a highland,
formerly Tiku was part of Pariaman because Agam only had highlands taken over the
coastal position of Tiku as part of Agam Regency. This geographical problem is my main
problem to overcome the widespread dissemination of information so that many people
know more about the area
- The Significance
With the creation of this e-brochure, many significant things affect tourists with a wider
scope, and besides that, it can also be an informative medium that is very useful for the
public in obtaining limited information on this Pasir Tiku Beach tour. With the creation
of this e-brochure, I think it will cover more important things such as tourism promotion
events and good benefits for stakeholders around Pasir Tiku beach tourism.
The Technical Goals
- For Students
This helps students how to deal with fieldwork, analyzes tourism potential that
lacks information, and participates in educating stakeholders and understanding
public interest in getting very affordable holidays, and further helping the
development of MSMEs (UMKM) around communities that have tourism
potential.

- For English Department


As an English DepartmentSstudent, this is a very valuable goal for both the public
and the English Department itself, where all the skills needed to analyze tourism
potential to be more informative are basic skills that have been available in the
English Department so far, and it's just that they don't exist yet. the results of the
learning so far. And I think this is a good opportunity to apply all the skills that
you have learned from the English Department.

- For Stakeholders
Help increase sales of nearby MSMEs with better information that can reach a
wider market for stakeholders and educate stakeholders to know what needs are
best for tourist visitors, such as service, provision of beverage and food according
to beach tourism criteria in general or in particular.
Summary

Previous Work

Two previous works are chosen as references in this project. The first was

from Shahlia Prastika Chahayani (2020) made of function e-brochures. The title

of her project is writing a function of e-brochure as a Promotional Tool to

Increase Brand Awareness on Social Media Accounts. She discussed Social

Media is the most massive strategy to reach a wide audience in terms of

promotion. Not only products but almost all fields can be promoted widely and

openly without any limitations..

The second was conducted by Ida Bagus Dwi Setiawan (2015) entitled “

IDENTIFICATION OF TOURISM POTENTIAL AND 4A (ATTRACTION,

AMENITY, ACCESSIBILITY, ANCILLIARY) IN SUMBER WANGI hamlet,

PEMUTERAN VILLAGE, GEROKGAK DISTRICT, BULELENG REGENCY,

BALI”. He wrote an Overview of Tourism Potential and an Overview of the 4A

(Attractions, Accessibility, Amenity and Ancilliary) Concepts. This research is

descriptive. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data and are a

very suitable reference for my final project in collecting data extensively


Theoretical Background

This part will explain the definition of writing, the purpose of writing, kinds

of writing, the process of scriptwriting, the 5W + 1H, and proofreading. Also, this

part explains the definition of e-brochure, the purpose of the e-brochure, the kind of

e-brochure, the critical element of the excellent e-brochure, and the process of

making the e-brochure.

Definition of Writing

This final project use persuasive writing. I choose it as we know persuasive

text namely in the form of slogans, promotional, and invitation writing. Kaffer

(2001: 118) persuasive text is an attempt to persuade someone to want to follow the

desired goal without coercion. Targian (1994: 113) persuasive texts are essays that

can attract interest, and can ensure that reading experiences are important.

Syamsuddin (2009: 40) persuasive text is text that contains to grab the reader's

attention. This text is presented in an interesting way, convincing the reader that the

experience implied is an important matter. In writing persuasive texts the author

uses a slogan to write the text of persuasion. In general, slogans are expressions,

ideas, or goals to inform, explain, or popularize something by using interesting short

sentences that are easy to remember and meaningful so that they are inherent in

everyone.

The Purpose of Writing

This e-brochure have purpose to write some words or short sentences that

are interesting, eye-catching or striking and easy to remember, to tell something;

short and interesting, striking, and easy to remember words or sentences to explain

the purpose of promotional tourism such as show attraction, amenity, accessibility,


ancilliary and others.
