The plant will be designed for achieving the following parameters in SINGLE PASS (Oil sample taken
from Sampling Valve provided at the Plant delivery).

4. Electrical Heater (Transformer oil heating system)

  Indirect type Heaters in Refractory Formers shall be provided.
Heating Elements shall not come in direct contact with oil so that
localized overheating, hot spot and breaking of oil is avoided.
 Heater Power: 24 KW in 2 stages of (12 KW) each.
 A pressure safety valve & Drain valve provided.
 Digital temperature control will be provided.
 Oil temperature for processing 55 to 60 Deg. C.

6. Degassing Column :

Degassing and moisture removal system 2 stage suitable for removing dissolved gasses to obtain the
technical parameters in two or three pass.

 Totally welded.
 Sight Glass & Lamp shade.
 Rasching Ring Trays.
 Low level and High Level Float Switches.
Fabricated in mild steel.

7. Vacuum System (Degassing) :

The System shall be capable of achieving an end Vacuum Level of less than 0.5 Torr. Pumps shall
have the following specifications.

a)First stage : Two Stage Rotary Oil Sealed Pump (2.0 HP) -- 1 Nos.

 Nominal pumping speed -- 65 CMH

 Cooling -- Air Cooled.
 Make -- PROMIVAC/Super Vacuum
The Vacuum System will be equipped with the following :
 Bourdon Gauge, Range 0 to 760 Torr.
Mc loed Gauge , Range 10 Torr to 0.01 Torr.

 Air admittance valve Valves.

9. Electrical Control Panel.

Base mounted Control Panel comprising of :

 All necessary Manual Switches, push buttons, indication Lamps, Contactors, Overload
Protection relays for Motors.
 Electrical supply conditions are 415 Volts, 3 Ph., 4 Wire, 50 Hz. A.C.

Instruments:

Digital Temperature indicating controller at Heater Outlet & Inlet.

Compound Gauge at outlet of Cartridge Filter.
Dial type (3”) vacuum gauge.

High/Low level switches.

Pressure release device.

10. Oil Hoses – 2 Nos.

2 Nitrite Rubber Hoses, each of 10 Mtrs. Long wire braided flanged end connections on both sides
suitable for 100 Deg. C (max) and Vacuum.

11. Erection and Commissioning:-

We will depute our Engineer to the site for commissioning of the Plant with extra NOMINAL cost.

12. Inspection & Testing:-

The Plant shall be offered for inspection & testing with transformer oil before supplying the equipment
and shall be arranged for demonstration of the Plant performance as per parameters mentioned in the
offer.
13. Instruction Manual:
Two copies of instruction manual containing details of Plant operation and maintenance along with
all relevant drawings with each Plant shall be supplied.
