Reflection:

1. Reflect on your early childhood, middle and late childhood days. Were you able to acquire the
developmental tasks expected of early, middle, late and adolescence? What facilitated your
acquisitions of the ability to perform such tasks? Write your reflection.
As I reflect on my early, middle and late adolescence, I was able to acquired their development
task. In my early childhood I develop to begin being independent, to focus more on adult and
children outside in the family, while in the middle childhood I begin to be more engage in
relationship, cognitive and language development, and lastly in the late adolescence I begin to
knowing myself there is also a lot of changes in my body physically since it is the time when
puberty appear. The one that facilitated my acquisitions of the ability to perform such task is my
parents and the environment that I’m growing with since their the one that will teach.

2. Having mastered the developmental tasks of early childhood, middle and late childhood and
adolescence. Reflect on what you should do as a teacher to facilitate your student’s acquisition
of these developmental tasks. Write down your reflections.
As a teacher to facilitate my student’s acquisition of these development task is I need to realize
that students have their own developmental timeline. What can I do is encourage them and
feed them once the child is ready and so the best thing teacher can do is to be aware of what
skills actually are developmental (or not) and then be sensitive and responsive to the needs of
individual students in the class.
