Introduction
The purpose of this report is to examine environmental threats people are currently
facing and it aims to come up with achievable solutions.
Water
Water represents a substantial compound of an average human’s daily life, but,
unfortunately, it tends to be overused. For instance, tap water running continuously
even when not needed. This issue can be avoided by educating accordingly and raising
awareness concerning the consequences of one’s actions. A common issue would be
water contamination, either by human or factory activity. Since it may seem
impossible to persuade every resident to stop from throwing waste carelessly, a way to
mediate the problem would be gathering larger group of people and together store
away the trash.
Air
Air suffers mass contamination on a daily basis. Since the emergence of the
opportunity of traveling faster to a destination by fuel-based vehicles, people excluded
any other means of transportation. It would represent a significant change if when
faced with smaller distances, people would resort to old means such as bicycles or
even walking by foot.
Agriculture
Agriculture is usually defined by the overuse of pesticides. Even though pesticides are
sprayed on land, many times, they can make their way into a water source, such as a
river, ocean, or pond. After countless studies, this chemical has been linked to cancer,
Alzheimer's Disease, ADHD, and even birth defects. In addition, even if you wash a
piece of fruit, such as an apple, there are still many pesticides lingering on it and they
could have seeped into the fruit or vegetable. To combat these downsides, I suggest
abiding to other alternatives such biopesticides. Biopesticides are living things or
compounds derived from living things that deter pests with the addition that many of
these pest deterrents are naturally found in the environment.
Conclusion
On the whole, it is crucial to put aside ignorance and actively show interest towards
improving life quality for all living organisms.
