Title: A statistical representation of fourth form student in a two- hundred- meter sprint
INTRODUCTION
As a student of St. Ignatius secondary school the researcher always been curious about the
statistical representation of fourth form student in a two-hundred-meter sprint. Whose
information the researcher is able to get. To please this curiosity, the Research, have to devised
the following sub problems, which the researcher to use this project to solved the research would
like;
To do research to find out more about the 200meter world record.
To represent information on statistical diagram.
To report information on diagram.
To collect data on student.
METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION
After discussion with the mathematics teacher, the researcher will gather material necessary and
then selected 20 students of which 10 are male and 10 are female. The researcher instructed the
student to participate in the event selected and record the information on a table.

The graph above illustrates male student in a 200 meter. However, from the male student with
the fastest timing is Griffith with a timing of 23.1 second also the male with the slowest is M.
English with a timing of 28 second. The student with the same time is B. Ng-A-Foo and J.
Griffith with a timing of 25.1 second R. Sandy and J. Foo also have the same timing of 26
second.
Discussion and finding
The objected of the project was to give the statistical representation of fourth form student in a
student in a two hundred. Which was place on statistical graph showing male and female. The
mean timing for the girl was 17.6 while the mean for the male was 78.6. It was proven that the
female faster than the female

Hence the mean for male is 17.86

Hence the mean for the female student is 17.6
Conclusion
The objective of this project was to determine the statistical representative of fourth form student
running two-hundred-meter sprint.
