This document forms the employment contract & particulars of employment between Bosnian House and the above Employee:
Commencement Date: 22.02.2022

Job title: Waiter

8 Hours + 1 Hour break, 6 days a week 1 day off per week.


Hours of work: Shifts is from 16.00 to 00.00 o’clock and weekends (Thursday +
Friday) until 01.00 o’clock. After closing of restaurant staff is
having his dinner and cleaning and closing the restaurant. The
working hours will be adjusted if necessary to the working hours
of Global Village. Working on weekends, public holidays and
night is covered within the salary.
Reporting to: Restaurant Manager
Gross salary including all benefits: AED 2,100
1) Residence Visa
2) Health Insurance
3) Staff Accommodation Hyatt Apartments Deira Dubai. 3
Additional Benefits paid by the Employer: bedroom sharing room
4) Transfer to work from Hyatt Deira
5) One free Return Ticket Sarajevo – Dubai or Sharjah -
Sarajevo
6) Staff Food in Bosnian House Restaurants according to
allowance and process by the company. Food during
times when the employee is in Restaurant only and can
only be consumed in the Restaurant.
7) Tips will be divided among all Staff and paid weekly
8) Performance Bonus on sole discretion of Employer.

Place of work: Bosnian House Restaurant (R7) in Global Village


Can be changed to any Bosnian House premises in Global
Village Dubai
Probation period 0 month Contract Period: 22.02.2022 – 10.04.2022
Should Global Village extend the season by 7 to 14 days the
employee accepts the automatic extension of this contract for

Employment contract
(Annex-A):
The Basis of this contract is the Law of the UAE Ministry of Labor.

1 START DATE

1.1 Your Employment under the contract started on the Commencement Date set out in your Particulars of Employment. Your
continuous employment started on the Commencement Date unless your Particulars of Employment indicate an earlier date.

2 JOB TITLE AND DUTIES

2.1 Your job title will be specified in your Particulars of Employment.

2.2 You will report to the person specified in your Particulars of Employment or such other person as the Employer may
from time to time choose.

2.3 The employer may make changes to your job title or position if he considers it reasonable.

2.4 You have to perform any duties assigned to you by the Employer as long as they are consistent with your job title or
reasonable given your status or performance level.

2.5 The Employer requires high standards from you in the performance of your work and general conduct. You must act in the
best interest of the Employer at all times and conduct your personal and working life in a way that does not damage or risk
damaging the Employers reputation.

3 WORKING HOURS

3.1 You may be required to work additional hours, including hours at weekends, whenever this is necessary to carry out your
duties properly. The nature of your position falls under the provisions of Article 72 of the Federal Law No.8 for 1980 on
Regulation of Labor Relations (‘’Labor Code”) and of Ministerial Order No (235) of 1984 issued by the Ministry of Labor.

4 PAY AND EXPENSES

4.1 Your gross salary will be indicated in your Particulars of Employment. The Employer reserves the right to amend the terms
of the scheme at any time. Your gross salary will be paid to you monthly in the first 5 days of the following month.

4.2 Any payments due from you to the Employer may be deducted or withheld from your gross salary and/or any other money
due to you from the Employer.

5 SICKNESS AND ABSENCE

5.1 If you are absent from work because you are sick or injured, you will be entitled to receive sick pay by providing medical sick
leave report.

6 TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT

6.1 Please refer to the particulars of your employment for termination by the Employer and employee.

6.2 The employee agrees earliest to resign from the company after the agreed contract period (10.04.2022 / end of Global Village
season). Should the Employee resign before the end of Global Village season then the Employee will pay a penalty to the
company of AED 6,000 and has to give a written 2 months notice. This cost will cover his recruitment, visa, air tickets and other
costs. Should an Employee resign without giving the agreed notice, a penalty of AED 5,000 per month will apply.
6.3 The Employer may terminate your employment immediately without notice or payment in lieu of notice if you are guilty of or
commit any of the criminal acts of omissions described in Article 120 of the Labor Code. All cost of visa and return ticket and
other cost in any act of criminal behavior the employee has to pay or can be deducted from his salary.
6.4 The Employer reserves the right to terminate your employment once you have exhausted your entitlements to sick leave under
the Labor Code.
7 COMPANY POLICIES

7.1 The Employee agrees to comply with the employment policies, practices, rules, regulations and instructions of the Company
currently in force or which hereafter may be amended, revised or adopted in the sole discretion of the Company from time to
time.

7.2 The Employee agrees to comply at all times with the Employment Regulations.

7.3 The Employee shall comply at all times with such additional duties and obligations as are set out in the Employee handbook
which may be altered by the Company from time to time in its sole discretion by way of a written notice to the Employee. In the
event of a conflict between this Contract and the said Employee handbook, the provisions of this Contract shall prevail.

7.4 Any failure to comply with any of clauses 7.1, 7.2 or 7.3, 6.3, 6.4 shall constitute both a breach of this Contract and cause for
termination without notice or payment in lieu of notice.

8 INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

8.1 The Employee agrees to disclose immediately to the Company all inventions, discoveries, intellectual property, ideas,
innovations, ideas, developments, improvements, and all processes relating to the operations or business of the Company made
or conceived by the Employee alone or with others during the term of this Contract whether made or conceived within or outside
normal business hours, all of which shall be the exclusive property of the Company.

8.2 At the request of the Company, whether made during or after the termination of the Employee's employment, the Employee
agrees to execute all documents necessary for the filing of applications for a trademark, patent or any other registration, both
UAE and foreign, of the matters referred to above in clause 11.1.

8.3 The Employee agrees to make no claim against the Company with respect to the matters referred to above in clause 8.1.

8.4 Clause 8 shall survive the termination of this Contract and the termination of the Employee's employment.

9 OUTSIDE EMPLOYMENT & COMPETITION

During your employment with the Employer, you must not, without the Employers prior written consent, hold office in, be employed
by, be engaged in by or have any direct or indirect interest in any other business or organization.

9.1 The Employee will access inside information about the business and the company. A lot of this information could harm the
company if they will get to potential competitors. Therefore the Employee shall not during the term of his Employment contract
and for a period of 10 years after the expiration or termination of the Contract for any reason, directly or indirectly, whether as
owner, partner, shareholder, director, employee, consultant, distributor, agent, representative, sponsor or otherwise carry on or
be engaged, concerned or interested in carrying on of any business or employment which may compete with the business of
the Employer in Global Village or the UAE / any GCC countries or any country Bosnian House is active. Means the employee is
not allowed to working in any position for a competitor of the company. A competitor is defined as a Restaurant or a Kiosk or
any F&B outlet which is selling Bosnian Kebab (Cevapcici) or any kind of Kebab (Cevap / Cevapcic) from any ex-Yugoslavian
country, or any Balkan country or Bosnian Roasted Lamb or any Balkan food from Bosnia or any ex-Yugoslavian country. Also,
any organizing or employment for shops/pavilions/ kiosk/Restaurants from Balkan or East Europe on any Festival for or similar
to Global Village Festival. This rule applies for any premise which is established anywhere in the UAE or GCC or any country
Bosnian House is active. The Employee is also not allowed to work during the non-compete period defined above for any
competitor or non-competitor in Global Village. In the case the Employee breach any of the above he will pay for each breach a
minimum one-year salary (last year salary) and needs to stop the breach directly. If the Employee still continues to breach this
agreement the Employee will pay to the company for each month of breach a penalty of the last yearly salary.

9.2 During the time of the contract the Employee should also keep all information confidential from other employees, which does
not need to have this particular information. For each breach of giving information the Employee can be penalized with AED
1,000.
10 NON-SOLICITATION

10.1 The Employee agrees that he/she shall not, at any time during the term of [his/her] employment and within ten years following
the termination of [his/her] employment, either directly or indirectly, individually or in conjunction with any other person or in any
manner whatsoever within the UAE or GCC, or any country Bosnian House is active, solicit any of the Company's customers or
partners (specially no direct or indirect engagement in Global Village or participating in the tender process) or persons whom the
Company was soliciting as customers at the time of the termination of the Employee's employment hereunder. Solicitation while
employed by the Company shall be cause for termination without notice and payment in lieu of notice and pay the same amount
agreed in 9.1. If the Employee does not work anymore for the Company and in the case the Employee breach any of the above,
the Employee will pay for each breach a minimum one-year salary (last year salary) and needs to stop the breach directly. If the
Employee still continues to breach the above, the Employee will pay to the Company for each month of breach a penalty of the
last year salary.

10.2 The Employee agrees that he/she shall not, during the term of [his/her] employment or within ten years following the termination
of [his/her] employment, either directly or indirectly, individually or in conjunction with any other person or any manner whatsoever
within the UAE or GCC or any country where Bosnian House is active, entice or try to entice away any employee of the Company.
Any violation of this clause while employed by the Company shall be cause for termination without notice and payment in lieu of
notice or if the Employee does not work anymore for the Company and in the case the Employee breach any of the above, the
Employee will pay for each breach a minimum one-year salary (last year salary) and needs to stop the breach directly. If the
Employee still continues to breach the above, the Employee will pay to the Company for each month of breach a penalty of the
last year salary.

10.3 Clause 8 and 9 and 10 shall survive the termination of this Contract and the termination of Employee's employment for ten years
afterwards.

11 SEVERABILITY

11.1 If it is determined that in any legal proceedings any part of this Contract is invalid or unenforceable it will be deemed to be severed
from the remaining of this Contract for the purpose only of the particular proceeding. This Contract will, in every other respect,
continue in full force and effect.

11.2 If any provision or part of a provision of this Contract shall be or become void or unenforceable for any reason, this shall not
affect the validity of that provision or any remaining provisions of this Contract in this or any other jurisdiction and the provision
may be severable and if any provision would be treated as valid and effective if part of the wording was deleted, it shall apply
with such modifications as necessary to make it valid and effective.

Both parties have understood, agree and accept the terms and conditions of this contract.
