Micro-Project Proposal

Title of the Capstion project: Smart Water Level Monitoring System.

1.0 Brief Introduction:

• This micro-project we will create Smart Water Level Monitoring System.
• The main objective of this investigation is to build up a framework to monitor a water level3 of a
water source from an inaccessible area. The IoT based system given during this study is going to be
useful to attain such task. The prototype system experiment of this study allows keeping track of a
water supply from remote area continuously. The real usage of the system would require changes in
detector and few alternative technologies and source code in spite of the fact that the system and
working rule continue as before.

2.0 Aim of the Micro-Project:-

• To study about the Smart Water Level Monitoring System.
•In future, the proposed system can be used to monitor and analyze water usage of the specific water
source thus require developing such logic for the application. The system can also be used to collect
and study the environmental data of water source and its surrounding area by integrating other sensor
to the system. The study may include location data, water quality, temperature, humidity and various
other factors. For example Arduino GPS shield can be integrated in the system to obtain location
data of the water source dynamically.

3.0 Course Outcomes Addressed:-

• In this Micro-Project we will reading about Perform basic operations on Smart Water Level
Monitoring System.
• Learn the basic types ford construction, structure, implementation and application.

4.0 Literature review:-

In brawser such as Brave & Chrome. Book:-MSBTE 5th semester by Technical Publication.
• We will using a Personal Computer System of windows 10 Intel core-i5 4th gen, Microsoft Office
related software such as Microsoft office word 2019 for reporting our Micro-Project. We will using
website such as:
1.Hossein Golnabi, “Design and operation of a fiber optic sensor for liquid level detection”, Volume 41,
Issue 5, May 2004, Pages 801–812.
2.Sonka, Steve: Big Data and the Ag Sector: More than Lots of Numbers, International Food and
Agribusiness Management Review, vol. 17(1), 1--20 (2014)
3.Atzberger, Clement: Advances in Remote Sensing of Agriculture: Context Description, Existing
Operational Monitoring Systems and Major Information Needs, Remote Sensing, vol. 5(2), 949--981
(2013)
4.Sakthipriya, N.: An Effective Method for Crop Monitoring Using Wireless Sensor Network, Journal of
Scientific Research, 20(9), 1127--1132 (2014)
5.0 Proposed Methodology:-

1. First of all, we all discussed the concept & topic of our Capstion-project with group members.
2. After that we divided the work equally amongst ourselves.
3. We refer some books and understand the topics.
4. And collected information from book, note sandal soused some internet sites.
5. After collection of all import information regarding our topic we started to prepare the report on it.
6. For making the write-up of our micro-project we used Microsoft office software.
7. We will get information about Smart Water Level Monitoring System books .
8. We will collect the information of the Micro-Project and properly used of Environment Studies in
this Micro-Project
