TOPIC:
Homeschooling deprives kids of important social experiences

Homeschooling basically means educating a child at home

instead of sending him to any educational institution .It is a
common practice nowadays as many people still believe that
homeschooling is better for the mental and social development
of children but it. I believe that it deprives the children of
important social experiences due to which they face a lot of
consequences in the long run.

Homeschooling hinders social development of children due to

which they are not able to develop socialization skills in
themselves. This happens because when we education them at
home, their social interaction is limited only to the people they
see around them every day. By staying isolated from the
outside world, they lack the ability to interact with new people
in an effective way which doesn’t proves beneficial for being
successful in life because socialization is necessary to lead a
normal life. As a part of society, we have to deal with many new
people for survival, but these children even after growing up
are not able to navigate in society in a proper manner. They
experience extreme social awkwardness in big masses which
also affects their personality as well as reputation in the
society.
Another consequence faced by children due to homeschooling
is lack of confidence and in-ability to work in groups because
they don’t have any experience about how to cooperate with
any group of people for a joint cause. As they are used to work
individually always so it becomes quite difficult for them to
manage everything for achieving the goal. Children who get
education at schools never have to face this problem as they
have experience of working with different groups in school life
which helps them ahead in their professional life as well.

From this, it is concluded that homeschooling holds some

positive aspects as well as negative aspects but social
experiences are necessary for proper development of a child’s
mind, character and personality and survival in the society and
homeschooling deprives them from these
experiences.Therefore, besides homeschooling children should
be sent to school in proper age for avoiding any consequences.
