• Part of Eastern Ghats,Located in the southern edge of


Andhra Pradesh.
• A group of seven Hills:
• Seshadri, Neeladri
Garudadri,Anjanadri,Vrishabhadri,Narayanadri &
Venkadari, together extend over about 8000 Square km.
• Also known as the Venkatachalam,these hills denote the
seven hoods of serpent Adidesha, on which Lord Vishnu
rests.
• Tirupati, a major Hindu pilgrimage town is here
• It forms part of The Seshachalam Biosphere Reserve
