DATE TYPE OF TRAINING Anti-swimmer attack bill

Following acc S.O.P. :

1. When moored or anchored ,ships are extremely vulnerable to attack by swimmers and
divers. The most advantageous time for such occurrences is during low visibility or limited
light. This procedure will assist in the defense against swimmer attacks. However the
ultimate defense is that of a security minded crewmember.

2. Depending on the threat assessment, one or more of the following may be implemented:
a) shipboard lighting implemented in accordance with section 18 (SSP)

b) if available, searching will be manned.

c) Roving patrols will be implemented

d) Implement emergency response teams

e) Have fire hoses laid out and charged.

f) Lock as many weather deck doors as possible to control access.

g) If the threat is of sufficient credibility, get underway.
