Under Local Budget Circular No. 142 dated January 24, 2022, re; LOCAL GOVERNMENT SUPPORT FUND (LGSF) – FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE UNDER THE FY 2022 GENERAL APPROPRIATIONS ACT (GAA) REPUBLIC ACT No. 11639 TO LGUS IN
THE FY 2022 GAAP, R.A. 11518, may we earnestly seek for financial assistance from your good office amounting to ONE HUNDRED
MILLION PESOS (Php100,000,000.00) for the following proposed programs and projects, to wit:

These proposed programs and projects are necessary for addressing the following pressing issues and concerns hounding us, as follows:
1. A Sea wall is an urgent need. We need to fortify the Poblacion, Palho & Bugtong area coastlines to protect them from further erosion.
2. Our municipal roads are in dire need of concreting works.

While we remain steadfast and forthright in containing and addressing these pressing issues, our hands are tied due to the tightening source of
funds mainly coming from our National Tax Allotment (NTA).

The assistance request for these projects is not funded by 20% of the LGU NTA but is currently considered an urgent response amid the
pandemic and in addressing the pressing issues. We are a 4th class LGU located in the southern part of the Third Congressional District of
Masbate with a population of about 23,236. Our municipality thrives on fishing and farming with a busy major central business district at the
heart of the town’s Poblacion.

Surely, your help will go a long way and would be embedded in the hearts and minds of the Curposanon on this side of the country.
