I agree with scientists who state that force causes motion. Force causes a change in position or
motion. An object at rest will remain at rest if there is no force acting on the object. An object in
motion will also continue to move if there is no force acting on the object. If there is no force
acting on a moving object, its motion will never stop. An example is in space where there is no air
resistance. This causes the object to continue to move in the same direction. This is better known
as the law of conservation of momentum.

Another example is the foot touching the ball when kicking. The ball will move in the air and fall
on the ground. The interaction between the ball and the grass produces a force in the opposite
direction causing the ball to stop moving
