their behavior from the norms set forth in their society. Explain how the following social
institutions influenced your view of your “self.” Attach a picture of each.

1. Family

My family has always played a significant part

in molding my identity, both as a child and as
an adult. They instilled in me good principles
in social interactions and shaped me into a
nice person. I've developed a firm foundation
among my family and, most importantly, PICTURE HERE
within myself, with consistent guidance and
love.

2. School
Education is one of the important factors
that influenced me as a person. I have met
people that shape me into who I am today.
They were the people who bring the best out
of me and I am thankful that I was part of this
organization back when I was in senior high PICTURE HERE
school.
 3. Church (Religion)
My parents raised me in a religious setting,
and we were frequently brought to church
when I was a child. Religion has had a
significant impact on my personal outlook on
life. It helps me build a close relationship
with God and continue to grow as a good

person because of the ongoing guidance
from our pastor and other church members.

4. Peer Group
One of the major factors that influence me as
a person is my peers. From junior high to
college life, we would spend time chatting
and sharing our ideas and knowledge to each
other. I have learned a lot from my friends
and I think there are times that I would apply
it in my own situation. We help each other in
times of struggles and problems that’s why PICTURE HERE
we have built a strong relationship with each
other.
