We started our journey by establishing PT Exploitation Tambang Oil North Sumatra on December 10, 1957, which was also the birthday of PERTAMINA
The company's name changed to PT National Oil Company (PERMINA).

The company changed its name several times until on September 17, 2003, it became PT Pertamina (Persero)
It is a holding with six sub holdings, namely Upstream Subholding, Refining and Petrochemical Subholding, Commercial and Trading Subholding, Gas Subholding, Power & NRE Subholding, and Integrated Marine Logistics Subholding.

In 2021, we have distributed fuel, starting with 3.42 million KL of gasoline, 15.42 million KL of subsidized diesel, and 29.66
million KL of non-subsidized fuel. As for distribution agencies, there are 6,109 gas stations, 4,065 Pertashop, 321 one-price fuel,
and 210,964 LPG bases. Other programs are OVOO (One Village One Outlet) which sells subsidized LPG at retail prices
determined by each region, as well as the Pinky Movement.
