N.B. :— (1) Solve all the FIVE questions.

(3) Question Nos. 1 to 4 have an alternative. Solve each question in full or its alternative
in full.
UNIT—I

1. (A) Define limit of a function in ∈-δ form. By using the definition, show that lim x 2 – 3 = 6 .

2. (A) If the function f(x) can be represented by a power series and if it has derivatives of all
orders at the origin, than prove that :
