In all of our Feng Shui recommendations, we suggest “cures” or “activations” to get

the Qi flowing positively. There are many ways to do this and they are all explained
here.
Primarily we work with water and fire, and on some occaisions, salt cures, explained
in detail below.

There are two kinds of water, still and moving, in various sizes, and the fire has to be
real, a flame that burns continuoulsly.

Still Water is usually in a large container with the water 18” x 8” either way, which
neans you can have an urn or bowl that measure 18” across and 8” deep or a vase that
is 18” high and 8” wide. You can be a little flexible on the size. Its important that the
proportions are as close to the size as possible.

Moving Water refers to a fountain or some decorative water feature where the water
is moving constantly. You can get these online and basically their job is to “stir up”
the energy in that sector.

Fire refers to a flame, it can be an oil lamp, a long burning candle or a spirit lamp.
The flame can be as small as you like but it has to be constant.

Generally, the fire and water placements are permanent. The Salt water cure changes
from year to year, on the Chinese transistion date yusually 4th February each year.

Salt Water Cure is prepared using Grain Salt and coins, very easily.
Take a container of any material, ceramic, metal, plastic, the material of the container
is irrelevant. Fill it with the suggested quantity of grain salt. Put in 6 brass or copper
coins and one silver coin. An India 5 Ruppee coin is fine as a brawss coin and regular
2 Ruppee coins for the silver one.

Top this with clean water and as the salt settles down keep adding salt and water till
you end up with 2 inches of water above the salt. The salt must not dissolve.

You will observe, over a period of time, that the salt will “disappear” or bubble over.
If that happens, clean the rim of the container by wiping it down, then add more salt
or water as is required to get back the original proportions. This cure is to be kept for
a full year.
