Not every student feel motivated to wake up early to go to university,to study for tomorrow, to listen to the

professor,to take notes or to do the homework. We should do it, if we want to make our life better. All of us want
toachieve success in every step of our life, but we should have something that motivate us.If students have lack of
staying ambitious ,the professors can’t do anything to help them. What factors influence students’ motivation? How
can instructors promote students’ engagement and motivation to learn?College success is dependent on several
factors such as finding the drive to learn and withstanding all the stress, pressure and frustrations that along with
being in college. Many students often struggle with motivation for learning or encounter the difficulty of balancing
their academic life, social life, and work. There are a lot of classes, extracurricular activities, and work which makes
it difficult for you to get the time to rest. And when you get some time, the last thing that will cross your mind is
studying. Finding the drive to study is very important as motivation is a factor that stimulates and sustains behaviour
towards an objective. Motivation is vital to learning as well as life accomplishments. It helps engage the mind of a
student, boost their persistency levels, produce better learning aftermaths, and enable them to perform better than
other students on standardized tests. If you want to get the academic grades that you have been longing for, you must
find the drive to study. Many professors may have led classes where students are engaged, motivated, and excited to
learn, but have also led classes where students are distracted, disinterested, and reluctant to engage—and, probably,
have led classes that are a mix.The problem is that many students are not motivated to learn. Even with the perfect
lesson plan in place, an unmotivated student will not learn. Some teachers claim that motivating students is not
their job. It is a teacher’s job to know the content and to teach it well; the student must take responsibility for his
or her learning and find his or her own motivation. This old-fashioned idea is what limits many teachers to being
average. A great teacher recognizes that student motivation is necessary for success in learning and that teachers
are in the perfect position to improve student motivation.

<All of as need to be motivated and always we need to motivate ourselves.>

This is the time of the year when courseworks and dissertations are due , exam time is looming. Sometimes having to do all that
studying and catching up with reading feels like a drag. It can be overwhelming because together with the studying can come a
wave of questions where you doubt yourself on a personal level with thoughts such as:

" ‘Do I even understand these readings?’… ‘Am I going to be able to write something interesting and relevant?’…  ‘Am I going to
do the right thing?’… ‘Am I good enough to do this?’… ‘Others seem to be more on top of things than I am’… ‘What if I do
badly?’

●These thoughts are subtle, but can lead to difficult feelings that interfere with motivation. So here are some of the ways that
we could help ourself to generate that motivation!

#Do not run away. Avoiding work can make as feel deflated. This is emotionally more draining than having to go through the
frustration of reading for your paper.

#Do not blame yourself for procrastinating now and then. Try to become aware of the habit and gently make yourself to go
back to the task sooner rather than later.

#Try to understand your studying style better. What will make it easier for you to work? We are all prone to pleasant
experiences and it is natural that we tend to avoid uncomfortable, dry chores and duties.  So try to make your study experience
as interesting as possible.

#Don’t question your abilities. Don’t put yourself down by comparing yourself to others.

#Visualise yourself starting. Make yourself sit down and work even if this is for just 20 minutes. See starting as a parallel process
like a plane on a runway. You may start slow but you will still take off!

# Focus on the task at hand and prioritise the most important tasks. Avoid multitasking.

#Communicate to others any difficulties and/or what you intend to do. This can help you engage with the process and identify
the important tasks. Communication / externalisation can help you to commit with immediate goals and you could also find out
others points of view and tips.
#Focus on the outcome and not the struggle to get there!

IF WE FOLLOW THESE RULES EVERYTHING WOULD BE EASIER!

Keyfactorsin student motivation:

# Students will study for the test, but mostly the night before, often without much interest in the material itself, and often using
their rote memory. Teachers have all experienced the frustration of working with children who seem to know the material one
day and cannot recall it a week later. It is nearly impossible to build deep and genuine learning when students are relying on
short-term memory to perform tasks that have an external value to them.

Choice is the key to self-determination and authenticity. To live and to learn without choice is to feel controlled and to develop
instrumental thinking—to work for the reward.

Teachers can foster internal motivation by engaging students with interesting learning materials and environments,
constructing learning tasks that promote active involvement, de-emphasizing grades and other extrinsic controls, and
supporting autonomy through offering real and meaningful choices both in task and in execution. The research on motivation is
complex and fascinating, and the bottom line is this: Kids are more internally motivated to learn when rewards and
punishments are kept at a distance. We don't want kids "doing school"—going through the motions while focused on praise
and grades, because it turns out that they don't retain their learning with this mindset. The learning is superficial and more
about external affirmation than about deep understanding.

Motivation is the first step of students to increase success in university.Today's young people need motivation in schools and
need to be motivated by others a freshman, for example, faces a large building, new students, and teachers other than high
school, they need to get the right doses of motivation, schools are an institution that seeks to have the will and desire to achieve
success.Motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, is a key factor in the success of students at all stages of their education, and
teachers can play a pivotal role in providing and encouraging that motivation in their students. Of course, that’s easier said than
done, as all students are motivated differently and it takes time and a lot of effort to learn to get a classroom full of kids
enthusiastic about learning, working hard, and pushing themselves to enxcel.then I prepared a survey asking college students
how they are motivated by teachers .5 of the students show that they are motivated by teachers by telling their stories and
difficulties in school.13 of studens says that teachers have used as a method of motivation showing that choosing a foreign
language branch is a branch that brings a good future

Now after all these conclusions we come to the final conclusion that there are many ways and

reasons how students are motivated and this depends on the personality and character of

everyone. One can be motivated by his inner impulses to get rich with knowledge, someone else

is pushed by the fact that will be the best while others associate motivation with teachers or

their favorite subjects. But despite all the efforts of teachers and external factors I think that
motivation arises within us.The only thing we have on hand and we should do is try to develop it

to a stage that is enough for us, to help us move forward. This may seem like a nonsense or

difficult sentence but in fact it is something very simple. Every beginning of the day when you

wake up you repeat to yourself: "I am the best and I can do anything". So you make your brain

believe it as your heart becomes bolder and suddenly you realize that you are motivated

yourself, you are filled with your positive energy and you are ready to study. Remember, it is

enough that you set a goal for yourself and you have to achieve it.
