1 Training courses & counseling


Due to the common sense that competence is inevitable, both sides
of our management teams agreed to offer professional training courses
every weekend to improve staff’s working performance. IP 8 March
Meanwhile, if anyone who gets anxious or uncomfortable about our
re-applying procedures, we also provide free counseling with
experienced counselors. One thing we can be sure about is excellent
staff will always be welcomed. IP

2 Notification in advance
Although the redundancies are expected, we don’t want it to influence
our productivity. An email would be sent to the staff whose performance
has fall out of expectations, which will inform that a performance
improvement plan will be given to the staff before the final redundancies. BB 5 March

3 Recommendation letters
Compensation package number will be adjusted and announced with
a new one after the meeting of human resources department next
Monday. Besides, a recommendation letter of our CEO can be provided
on request to assist the search for a new job. CG 9 March

4 Fee reimbursement
We fully encourage our staff to improve their English communication.
Therefore, from now on, whoever takes an English course can take the
receipt to the finance department and get a full amount reimbursement. IP 2 March

5 New brochure
All the issues mentioned by our staff will be properly improved gradually.
We sincerely wish our employees could have a relaxing and enjoyable
working environment. And a draft brochure about our new management
style will be circulated so that it can be approved and sent to the printers
by 15 March. BB 15 March
Action plan
We plan to gather staff feedbacks 3 months later and check if our morale has been promoted, and
the following steps will be critical to our success of reformation.

March
Start training courses in the conference rooms and determine the redundancy list before email
notifications.
Print out the draft brochure about the new management style and announce the new compensation
number.
Improve the food recipe of the staff restaurant and increase the budget of the cook’s salary.

April
Provide recommendation letters for the staff who are already being made redundant.
Examine and approve the receipt for the English courses’ reimbursement and then pay.
Open new recruiting channels to senior management positions for local Chinese staff.

May
Hold a party for all the staff who have kept their jobs following the merger.
Replace some senior management positions from Australian to Chinese and accomplish the
handover process.
Do anonymous surveys in the staff groups and collect the feedbacks towards these actions.
