NEW 230KV SUBSTATION 245 kV Outdoor Switchgear for 1 Breaker System 245kV outdoor switchgear comprising four (4) diameters of 1 circuit breaker system with two 2000A three phase busbars. Two (2) diameters (all fully equipped) for the connection of two (2) 230kV overhead line circuits to Comilla (North), one 235/132/33kV auto-transformer circuit bay and one 235/132/33kV auto-transformer circuit bay for future provision with necessary 245kV switchgear and materials. 235/133/33 kV Auto-transformers One set of 225/300(ONAN/ONAF) MVA, 235/132/33kV, three phase auto-transformer. The three phase transformer unit shall be equipped with winding of tertiary delta at 33kV, the connections between the tertiary delta winding and associated earthing/auxiliary transformers by means of 33kV arrangement.
33/0.4 kV Earthing/Auxiliary Transformers The delta connected tertiary windings of each 3-phase auto-transformers shall supply a 33/0.4 kV, auxiliary Zig-Zag transformer (one set in total) for the purpose of supplying the substation 400/230V auxiliary power requirements. Control and Protection for 230kV System Control, protection equipment and substation automation system (SAS) for one 235/132/33kV auto-transformers feeder bays, two overhead line bays and one future auto-transformer bay. Tariff metering for 230kV System Tariff metering panel for one 235/132/33kV auto-transformers feeder bay and two (2) overhead line bays. Civil Works for new 230kV substation Complete foundations necessary for the above 230kV equipment and gantries. Complete 230kV switchyard areas including cable ducts, internal service roads, surface treatment, drainage, site finishing works, boundary fence, guardhouse and outdoor lighting system. Included are the 235/132/33 kV auto transformer and 33 kV earthing compounds, 245 kV switchgear area, and new two storied control building with cable basement. The building will include control and relay room, Communication room, battery room, office/records room, toilet, pantry, interior lighting, ventilation, air-conditioning, lightning protection and deep tube well for supplying drinking water.

Description 145 kV Switchgear, equipment connection and steel structures The 145 kV switchgear shall comply with the particular requirements as detailed in the Schedule of Technical Requirements included as Appendix A1 to this section and shall comprise the following:-

Nine (9) sets of 145kV, 1600A, 31.5kA, 50Hz, 650 BIL, single throw double air break, center rotating post type, motor operated normal disconnectors with out earthing switches. Nine (9) sets of 145kV, 1600A, 31.5kA, 50Hz, 650 BIL, single throw double air break, center rotating post type, motor operated tandem(series) type disconnectors with out earthing switches. Two (2) sets of 145kV, 2000A, 31.5kA, 50Hz, 650 BIL, single throw double air break, center rotating post type, motor operated normal type disconnectors for bus-coupler bay Twenty one (21) nos. of single-phase, 4-core, multi ratio, 145kV, 50Hz, 650 BIL post type current transformer. Six (6) nos. of single-phase, 4-core, multi ratio, 145kV, 50Hz, 650 BIL post type current transformer for bus-coupler bay. Fifteen (15) nos. of single-phase, 145kV, 2-core, 50Hz, 650 BIL, inductive type voltage transformers for line bay & busbar. Twelve (12) nos. of single-phase, 145kV, 2-core, 50Hz, 650 BIL, capacitor type voltage transformers.

SCHEDULE A 2B11 Twenty seven (27) nos. of 120kV continuous operating voltage, 10kA nominal discharge current, 50Hz, station class, gapless metal oxide type, single phase surge arresters. One (1) lot of busbar conductors (2 x 795MCM TACSR), jack bus and jumper conductors (2 x ACSR Mallard) as required for connection of 145kV switchgear in the technical specifications and bid drawings. One (1) lot of insulators and fittings including all necessary clamps and connectors required to complete 145kV switchgear extension and renovation as specified in the technical specifications and bid drawings. One (1) lot of gantry steel structures and equipment supports required to complete 145kV switchgear extension and renovation as specified in the technical specifications and bid drawings. Sixteen (16) nos of 145kV post type support insulators. Shifting of two (2) sets (each set per circuit) of existing switchgears, circuit breaker & power transformer (132/33kV) with equipment support and. Included are all necessary associated reconnection works. Shifting of four (4) sets (each set per circuit) overhead slack span for existing four overhead line circuits. Included are all necessary associated reconnection works. Control, Protection, Substation Automation and Metering Protection and metering panels for all new 132kV bays are to be installed in the existing control building. The interface panels to adapt Substation automation system (SAS) for connection of existing and new feeders shall also be installed in the old control room building. The sequence of the control panels and protection panels shall mirror the actual switchyard layout. 132 kV Circuits The equipment to be supplied, installed and commissioned is shown on Bid Drawings comprising the following. 2F1 2F2 2F3 Control, protection and SAS for two (2) sets of 132kV new overhead Line circuits to Fenchuganj Power Station Substation. Adopting new SAS for existing four overhead line bays. Control, protection and SAS for one (1) set of 235/132/33kV AutoTransformer circuit and associated Earthing/Auxiliary Transformer circuits. Out of two 235/132kV AutoTransformer circuit bay, one shall be kept as future provision. Control, protection, SAS for one (1) set of Bus coupler circuit bay.

Adopting new SAS for existing two 132/33kV transformer bays in one (1) lot. Busbar protection panels for Complete switchyard. Tariff Metering panel in one (1) lot to accommodate programmable & recordable digital 3-phase, 4-wire import and export MWh and MVarh meters (accuracy class 0.2) for each existing and new 132kV line and transformer feeder. Connection of the 132kV side of the 235/132kV Autotransformer in the new 230kV substation to the existing 132kV switchyard by overhead conductor. All necessary gantry structure, conductors, insulators, fittings etc. are requested to be supplied and installed under this scope. Multicore Low Volateg Power and Control Cables One (1) lot complete set of multicore low voltage auxiliary power and control cables between all items of equipment supplied under the Contract shall be supplied, installed with necessary gland, terminated, and identified by colours & tags. The overall substation cable routing and core schedules shall also be provided.

Earthing and Lightning Protectionn One(1) lot complete design, supply and installation required for Extension and renovation of existing earthing system and lightning protection screen including conductors, connections, connectors and clamps to suit the substation overall arrangement and provide supporting design calculations. Batteries, Chargers and DC Distribution Replacement of existing two(2) sets 110V alkaline batteries and chargers by new two(2) sets 110V Ni-Cad batteries complete with chargers. The system shall generally be as shown in Bid Drawings and shall include the following. (a) (b) Two(2) sets 100% Ni-cad batteries complete, each capacity shall not be less than 400 Ah at the 5-hour rate of discharge. Two(2) sets battery chargers complete, each float charge shall not be less than 75A rating.
