Online Ticket Booking System Project

 Online movie ticket booking system is the process by which
customer can purchase their movie tickets directly using internet and
pay through online banking. Online movie ticket booking system is
measurable, cost effective and has very good user interface . This web
based Asp.Net C# project provides the all working of the cinema ticket
booking system.

Online movie ticket booking system is useful for both promoters

and customers equally. Customers can make online ticket booking at any
instance of 24 hours a day. And as this is a web based application
therefore they can buy ticket from anywhere around the world.
Customers with cinema website to know about new movies, show
timings and cinema locations . Customer can buy tickets without wasting
their time. Cinema owner can inform to customers about new release
and discounts and also can get feedback from customer. This feedback
will be helpful for him to make new strategy for business.

• Online cinema Ticket Booking System project is aimed to provides
facility to book cinema tickets anytime and from anywhere. One
objective of this project is to minimize the number of staff at the
ticket-box window.
• Promote new movies over the internet and gain maximum profit.
Provide a 24x7 service to the customer.

Up till now all the activities of the movie ticket booking are performed
manually, it requires more human efforts to manage the each and every
aspect of organization which is very costly process. To overcome all kind
of problems being faced by movie ticket booking process our project
"Online Movie Ticket Booking System" will provide efficient and cost-
effective solution and always have possibilities of enhancement up any
legal extent to satisfy user requirement.
The Project "Online Movie Ticket Booking System" is generalized
software and can be easily used in any multiplex with little or no
change. The Changes in software can be easily accommodated. The
addition and deletion of the modules in software can be easily
adjusted.
 Future Scope

The scope of the project is the system on which the software is

installed, i.e. the project is developed as a desktop application,
and it will work for a particular institute. But later on the project
can be modified to operate it online.

The project has a very vast scope in future. The Project can be
implemented on intranet in future. Project can be updated in
near future as and when requirement for the same arises, as it is
very flexible in terms of expansion. With the proposed software
of database space manager ready and fully functional the client
is now able to manage and hence run the entire work in a much
better, accurate and error free manner.
