AN EXECUTIVE ORDER DECLARING ALL SATURDAYS OF THE MONTH AS “KALINISAN

DAY” AND SYNCHRONIZED CLEAN-UP DRIVE DAY OF BARANGAY SALVADOR, SANTIAGO
CITY

WHEREAS, the active participation of all the residents in the implementation of the
enforcement of environmental sanitation such as dredging, cleaning of clogged canals, esteros, and other
waterways; pruning, cutting of overgrown or thick bushes, plant foliage, vegetation and tree branches;
and removal or draining of water-collecting receptacles like old tires, tin cans, plastic containers, etc.,
that contain stagnant water” is very vital;

WHEREAS, to support the call of a better and clean environment that is imperative to mandate
all the residents of Barangay Salvador to come out and have a synchronized clean-up drive every
Saturday;

WHEREAS, to emphasize the important role of the communities in getting rid of dengue
mosquitoes and other sickness through cleanliness and proper sanitation;

WHEREAS, the barangay government dreams to hail as one of the cleanest and greenest
Barangay in Santiago City;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Sammy C. Sarmiento, Punong Barangay of Barangay Salvador, City

of Santiago, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order declaring all Saturdays of the
month as “Kalinisan Day” and synchronized clean-up drive day of Barangay Salvador, Santiago City to
be headed by Barangay Officials, Barangay Based-Structures and Workers, Purok Officials and all
residents.

This Order shall take effect immediately.

Let copies hereof be furnished to all concerned for information, reference, and guidance.

Done in this 24th day of January at Barangay Salvador, City of Santiago, Philippines.
