Task 1 Letter

Dear Sir,
0 preview) I am writing this letter with reference to your request to
provide contributions from the readers for an article called “The book
that influenced you” for your magazine and I would like to take this
opportunity and provide details on the book that influenced me.
1)My name is Uhlianytsia Alex and I am a regular reader of your
magazine. The book I would like to share is named “Make your Bad" by
William H. McRaven. it emphasizes how self-discipline and our self-
control affect us.
2)I came across this book by chance when I was wandering through
forms for reading. I was interested in this book because it was written by
a 4-star admiral of the US Navy. I read the description and reviews of
the book and realized that I should read the 10 tips contained in the
book. I became more disciplined, more confident, and more motivated
than I was before reading.
3)Moreover, I believe that this book will influence millions of people
because it is written in an easy and understandable way without
unnecessary details. The book contains 10 rules on how to change your
life for the better, how to become self-confident, and how everyone can
change their inner world and then the whole world.
4)I hope this information would be sufficient for including in your
article. Should you require any further details, please let me know.

Yours faithfully,
Uhlianytsia Alex

Inhabiting in the birthplace gives a feeling secure and some people

prefer to spend a lifetime in their hometown. There are some factors
behind it, such as high emotional connection. However, there are some
pros and cons to this approach of living, which are discussed in the
following.

The most highlighted merit of living in own country is that familiarity

with the vicinity. If one would rather stay close to native-born, he no
needs to squander a lot of time to accustomed to foreign citizens and
neighbourhood. For example, in difficult ,situations he can ask for help
from acquaintances and receive their graces without any expectations.
The second virtue has to do with being near to relatives. Not only allows
people to reside by their parents and family but also can visit childhood
school friends.

On the other hand, there are some demerits regards to having deep
relationships by place of origin. Firstly, loss of great opportunities in
developed countries. A person who used to be tribe-dependent could not
progress although they were talented. For instance, some athletes have
the perfect offer from other nations but they did not accept it due to
enthusiasm for their homeland. Furthermore, they can not learn the other
cultures and spread their own culture.

To draw a conclusion , some populations believed that residing where

they were born has more beneficial for them. However, they have some
explanations for their method, the disadvantages of this phenomenon are
considerably more than the advantages as per my knowledge.
