Health status
 Health status is an individual's relative level of
wellness and illness, taking into account the
presence of biological or physiological
dysfunction, symptoms, and functional
impairment.
Health care resources

 Health care resources are defined as all

materials, personnel, facilities, funds, and
anything else that can be used for
providing health care services. Health care has
long been a limited resource for which there has
been an unlimited demand; everyone
needs health care.

 Health statistics include both empirical data

mortality, morbidity, risk
factors, health service coverage,
and health systems.

 Fertility rate
 The fertility rate (FR) is the number of live
births per 1,000 women of reproductive age
(ages 15 to 49 years) per year.
 This is a more refined way to measure fertility
than crude birth rate because the FR accounts

years in a population.
