Internship is such a program which makes a student experiences the corporate life for the
first time. I was assigned as intern under Wealth Management Division.

This report is prepared on the basis of my five-month practical experience at UAS


Internationals.
This internship program helped me to learn about the practical scenario of a Business
Consultation firm. UAS Internationals is a dynamic business and marketing solution
provider. This Group has kept on its forward march with visionary goal, best use of its
human resources and meticulous planning. Varied range of products with ensured
standard, quality services and most effective managerial efficiencies have made the
company a market leader in the respective sectors of its operation.

Keeping main focus on business expansion and growth in the most prospective sectors,
the group is continuously taking up projects to make it the largest conglomerate in the
business arena despite fast-changing business trend and tricky situation.
Depending on the firm foundation and highly professional human resources, the UAS
group is still making good use of its business potentials and also contributing to the
development of the local corporate culture and making a significant contribution to the
overall development of the country and its economy.

But despite intriguing growth and business expansion, the company’s aims and objectives
remain the same – to serve people with maximum satisfaction and keep on working for
the greater welfare of the people and the country.

Introduction

1.1 INTRODUCTION
UAS International, established in 2013, works on maximising returns through our exclusive high
profile network ranging from top government banks to elite private banks. Initially started as a
human resource development organisation, they have since expanded and flourished as a they
wealth management company aiming to provide Portfolio Management Services (PMS) using
our expansive range of investment products. Also, in 2016, UAS International started a new
venture by the name of UAS International Holidays with the vision to provide customised
international and domestic tour packages for group travels, corporate travel, college trips etc.

Every individual, family or business that they cater to, has a requirement that is ambient to their
lifestyle. At UAS International, they have a wide bouquet of investment services that they offer,
each of which is specifically tailored to each Client. UAS has built its reputation on understanding
the needs of individuals, whatever their walk of life, and responding to them effectively and
discreetly. Each Client is supported by on going research and makes final investment decisions.
With the strong Research team at UAS, they also take special care to minimize risk while
extending quality growth for our clients.

They understand the multiple needs of investment solutions in the business world and are focused
towards fulfilling our client’s expectations. A concentrated, high-conviction approach combined
with active management differentiates our portfolio management services from our peers.
Deploying a unique data-driven approach to generate risk-adjusted returns over time, our
managers collaborate with investors to understand the nuances of their finances and risk appetites
and execute crucial investment decisions in a timely manner. Portfolio Management strategies of
UAS International enables investors to grow their investments whilst minimizing risk and
volatility.

I was given India First Life Mahajeevan Plus Plan as sales project . Brief Introduction is as
follows:-
Presenting, IndiaFirst Life Mahajeevan Plus Plan, a life insurance plan which will ensure security,
savings and cash flow aligned with yourfuture financial needs, all-packed-in-one. The policy is
designed to ensure along-term safety net for your loved ones, alongside ensuring you have
periodic cash ready to realize your dreams together and all this while you pay for a duration
shorter than your policy term!

Task Performed

3.1 Brief description of the choice of the techniques utilized and the justification
for their use OR Choice and techniques of data/information collection.

❖ Warm calls

Relying on cold calls is an ineffective sales technique; they irritate potential clients and
are often screened anyway. Shifting to a warm calling is a much better—and more
efficient—way of handling selling. Warm calls involve calling prospective clients who
have been chosen for their potential to be receptive to your sales pitch. This includes
“warming up” leads through things like social media outreach and prior research of the
client. Warm calling leads to much higher success rates, since it does away with the scatter
shot approach to selling, which is often just a waste of your time.

❖ Features & Benefits

This one may seem obvious, but it’s not always efficiently carried out by the salesperson.
While it’s important to go over the practical functions of a product or service, simply
describing the service or product and its various functions isn’t enough to convince
someone to make a purchase. The prospective client doesn’t just need to know how it
works, they need to understand why they should care. Emphasizing the features and
benefits of the product, and the ways it can prove valuable to the potential client, is a
classic and effective selling technique that is continually reiterated because it works.

❖ Needs & Solutions

People like practical reasons why they should invest in a product or service, and they’re
more likely to listen to a sales pitch if it offers an effective solution. This sales technique
works best with the technique of active listening; it’s important to listen to the client to
get a sense of how the product could benefit them, and then tailor your pitch to that
individual or company. The sense that the sales pitch has been personalized will make feel
the client more comfortable trusting and listening to the salesperson, because they feel like
they’re learning about a solution that will work for them, not just you.

Interpretation and outcome of the analysis

I joined as an intern in the UAS Internationals . In UAS Internationals mostly work on customer
cares and provides effective solution to customer as insurance etc. UAS International launched
a product called India First Life Mahajeevan Plus Plan.Usually I contributed in this particular
project. My main task was to communicate with clients through phone and make them
understand about this insurance policy. Main features of this policy are as follows :-

• Create a long-term protection for your loved onesthrough life insurance cover of up to 15or 20
yearsReceive money back periodically (at the end of 3rd, 7th and 11th policy year) equal to
103% of your Annualized Premium and fulfill your planned financial needs.

• Utilize these money backs to fund your periodicneeds or fund your next annual premium

• Gain from Maturity Benefit and accrued Simple Reversionary Bonus, if declared and
Terminal Bonus, if declared, at the end of the policy term.

• Pay for a period of 12 years while benefitting from your policy for an entire policy term

• Receive a discount when you pay your renewal premiums early.

• Continue to enjoy life cover benefitfor one full year even if you miss to pay one premium
(applicable afteryouhavepaidtwofullyears’premiums)

For this policy we were given sales target of Rs 1 lakh and by achieving it successfully I earned
their pre early bird certificate.

Conclusion
I am happy to complete my internship in UAS Internationals under Sales
and Marketing department. To my own experience the working
environment of the organization is very inspiring. The organization is
always keen to implement new rules and actions for improvement. Sales
and Market Development Department is really working hard and every
day they are coming up with new unique and innovative ideas to wide
spread their business. If this effort goes on than they can able to cover
the untapped markets, increase their distribution reach and which will
also ensure future source of business.

Recommendation

UAS International requires to focus on organizational structure. Market


Operations should conduct a team meeting every week so that the
employees can know each other well, the Head of the department will
get an overview how the every departments are doing, which will
increase the level of team work. They could carry out promotional
activities from time to time in corporate offices and Universities in order
to understand what the potential customers want from them.
