Nowadays more and more schools are using electronic devices in learning.

Do
you think it is (a) positive or negative change?
Outline:
-Easily be distracted by online entertainment programs
-Affect negatively on students ‘health.
-broaden knowledge
These day, adopting electronic devices in education has been a subject of debate.
Although this trend can be beneficial to some extent, I am the opinion that its
detrimental effects are more significant.
Firstly, students’ academic performance will be adversely affected. Entertainment
programmes are becoming more and more attractive, appearing everywhere on
websites. For that reason, students can easily neglect the lesson and pay their
attention to these interesting video on the web, since then their academic results
can be exacerbated.
Secondly, adopting devices providing internet has undesirable influences on
learners’ health due to the amount of time used for exposing these devices.
Sitting long in front of the screen can cause many diseases which relevant to eyes
and weight such as obesity, short-sightedness and suchlike. Moreover when
staring at a screen for an extended period of time, eyestrain will most likely occur
and can cause tension headaches.
On the other hand, learners can broaden their knowledge of numerous academic
areas. The internet provides abundant information resources with convenience.
All information and textbooks needed for schooling can be easily stored in a
smartphone. However this learning way always hinges on the Wi-Fi, if the internet
connection isn’t fast, the learning process will be suspended.
In conclusion, I agree that electric devices adopted in schools have both pros and
cons but drawbacks of it is much more than benefits. Thus the traditional
education is still a good choice.
