Product Development Project

1. Product Name: Liquid Absorbing Carpet

2. What problem(s) does your product solve? (3-5 sentences)

My product solves carpet getting dirty and rotting. It will absorb and evaporate

any liquid that falls on it without leaving any residue or stains. It is great for

spilling prone children,animals that will come inside wet or muddy, and people

that will come inside wet or muddy.

3. Possible Competitors: The other companies with products even similar to

mine are just single floor mats. The single floor mats only cover a small

space and will usually be put on hardwood or tile floors. My water

absorbing carpet comes in floor mats and installable carpet to install

anywhere in your home. The other company's carpet is only water resistant

that will still stain and leave residue and rot over time. My carpet will

always be dry and never rot or become musty.

4. Target Market: My target market is anybody that owns a space to put the

carpet. Usually people who can own a house or apartment have a steady

income. Most people with a steady income are usually people at least 18

and up. SO my target market is anybody 18 or older.
