    How are laboratory fume hoods certified?

    ASHRAE does not certify or test products. We also are not aware of a specific certification program for fume hoods that is conducted by others. ASHRAE does write and publish, however, a standard test procedure for testing the performance of fume hoods. ASHRAE Standard 110-1995 is titled "Method of Testing Performance of Laboratory Fume Hoods."
