EATING HEALTHY

 HEALTHY BREAKFAST:
“Oatmeal with Milk”
Ingredients of the “Oatmeal with Milk”:
 700 ml of milk
 1/4 cup oatmeal
 cinnamon
 4 tablespoons of sugar
Preparation:
Heat the milk in a saucepan along with the oats and cinnamon until it boils. Then let the milk
cook for approximately 10 minutes until it reaches the boiling point.
Finally, add the sugar, stir and serve to enjoy.
“Banana oatmeal pancakes”
Ingredients of the “Banana oatmeal pancakes”:
 5 tablespoons of oatmeal
 100g strawberries
 75 ml non-dairy milk
 2 tablespoons of honey
 ½ teaspoon yeast
 Cinnamon
 1 egg
 2 bananas
 Salt
 ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
 Butter
Preparation:
Break an egg into a bowl and beat it together with the sugar, place the flour with the yeast,
cinnamon, and a pinch of salt on top.
Peel the bananas, mash one of them with a fork, place it in a bowl, aromatize it with the
vanilla, and mix until you get a smooth cream. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a small pan and
roll the previous dough into pancakes boil for 2 minutes on each side. Remove them and
reserve them. Clean the strawberries, wash and cut the remaining bananas into small slices
and finally place the pancakes on the bananas intermixing pancakes and fruit and spread the
honey on top, and serve.
 HEALTHY LUNCH:
"Orange juice"
Ingredients of the “Orange juice”:
 4 oranges
 1 liter of water
 120 grams of sugar
Preparation:
First, the oranges are washed, then they are squeezed into a container, when all the juice is
obtained it is poured into a jug with water. Then add the sugar and stir.
If desired, it is placed in the refrigerator, and when it is cold, it is served.
“Olluquito with meat or charqui”
Ingredients of the “Olluquito with meat or charqui”:
 3 tablespoons of Cocinero oil
 ¼ kg beef or jerky
 ½ cup onion
 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
 2 tablespoons of aji panca, crushed
 1 teaspoon of paprika
 1 kg of ollucos chopped into strips
 Chopped parsley
 Peppermint
 Salt and pepper at the taste
Preparation:
Heat the oil and fry the meat cut into strips. Once browned, remove the meat and fry, in the
same oil, the onion, garlic, chili peppers, and paprika.
Add the ollucos soaked for one hour in salted water and drained. Cover the pot and cook over
low heat for 20 minutes, stirring slowly.
Sprinkle with parsley and peppermint, and serve with white rice.
 HEALTHY DINNER:
“Hierbaluisa with milk”
Ingredients of the “Hierbaluisa with milk”:
 2 handfuls of fresh or dried hierbaluisa
 Boiled water
 Sugar
 Milk
Preparation:
Put a pot with water to boil and add the hierbaluisa, let cook for 8 minutes, then cover and let
rest for 5 minutes.
Strain and serve in glass or cups with milk, add sugar, and stir.
For last, enjoy this drink.
“Roasted Chicken Salad Sándwich”
Ingredients of the “Roasted Chicken Salad Sándwich”:
 8 slices of crustless bread
 600 g of filleted breast
 4 lettuce leaves
 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
 1 tablespoon of mustard
 12 cherry tomatoes
 Herbes de Provence
 Pepper
 Olive oil
 Salt
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Wash the tomatoes, make two cross-shaped cuts at the base and
season them. Season the fillets, dust with the herbs, pour a little olive oil and bake the breasts
for 15 minutes. After that time, add the tomatoes and bake for 10 more minutes. Make a
sauce by mixing the mayonnaise with the mustard. Cut the slices of bread in half, with the
sauce, and place a leaf of lettuce, the fillets, and the tomatoes. Top sandwiches and serve
immediately.
