IN ZEBILLA ‘Ensuring Water & Sanitation Facilities Improvements in Title Zebilla Community
Background Zebilla is a town and is the capital of Bawku West district, a
district in the Upper East Region of north Ghana. The proposal to be submitted should have the following output: 1. Deal with water and sanitation options for the households and community of Zebilla, that is, the mechanism needed to be put in place to make the water and sanitation project possible covering capacity building and coverage. 2. Increasing water, hygiene, and sanitation engagement and behavior change through knowledge and awareness of water usage and waste management. Project 3. Increasing infrastructural development that will help Activity improve water deployment facilities and waste collection and disposal tools including processes. This should include a. funding the infrastructure and b. institution restructuring to implement it like the local government’s institutions, water, and sanitation agency, CSO/NGOs. 4. Finally, deals with documenting and sharing lessons learned. The consultant shall be responsible for: a. Developing the whole project proposal; b. Engaging community stakeholders on water and sanitation including the local governments, waste management Responsibilitie agencies, leaders in the communities, schools, relevant s CSOs and NGOs, and technical teams. c. Develop, design, and relevant reports on engagements and awareness for project readiness and acceptability. d. Prepare a report on how projects can be implemented and cashflows proposals.
