LESSON: CONDITIONAL SENTENCE TYPE 3 (UNIT 11 – ENGLISH 10) CLASS: 10 TIME: 24 MINUTES
NUMBER OF STUDENTS: 38 AGE OF STUDENTS: 16 LEVEL: PRE-INTERMEDIATE – INTERMEDIATE
CLASS PROFILE:

The majority of students are active and have a pretty good command of English. Some are obedient and hard-working. Some tend to make noise during
class time. The class enjoys the active atmosphere and competitive activities or games in order to get bonus marks or presents.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

At the end of the lesson, students are expected to:

− understand the use of conditional sentence type 3.

− conjugate the verbs in their correct forms.

− apply the structures in sentence transformations as a way to enrich their use of English.

− be able to use the structures in speaking and writing.

TAST 2

Look at the poster on the board. Each team rolls a dice and complete the sentence corresponding to the number of dots on the dice. If your
team is in a black box, you need to use the 1st conditional to complete the sentence. Similar to the red box for the 2nd conditional and the
blue box for the 3rd conditional. The fastest team to the finish box is the winner.
