DepEd releases guidelines for School Year 2022-2023

The Department of Education (DepEd) has released the guidelines on the

school calendar and activities for School Year 2022-2023 in accordance with
its commitment to the resumption of 5 days of in-person classes. Signed by
Vice President and Secretary Sara Duterte on Monday, DepEd Order No.
034, series of 2022, sets the start of classes on August 22 and will end on
July 7, 2023.

The 27th annual meeting of the United Nations (UN) climate summits, also
known as COP (Conference of the Parties), once again began on November
2022 in Egypt. The COP27 is also an important occasion for the Philippines
and offers a chance for the country to improve its climate preparedness and
response.

Nepomuceno wins at Asian Senior Bowling Championships

Paeng Nepomuceno added another piece of hardware to his collection after

snagging the gold in the 16th Asian Senior Championships men’s singles in
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 13. The bowling legend outlasted
Japan’s Akira Nakada and Korea’s Jin Headong to capture the crown.
