(A) Brief about the submittal:

The Contractor vide letter under reference has requested for consent from the Engineer regarding the
Approval of M/s Skyway RMC Plant Pvt Ltd, Mankoli for supply of RMC for Bridges.

(B) Engineer’s observations:

The Contractor’s submittal is reviewed by the Engineer and found in order in terms of Sub clause
9.10.2 CTP-15A, Part 3 Specifications of Contract Agreement ‘Ready Mixed Concrete ’

(C) Engineer’s Recommendations:

‘Notice of No Objection’ (NONO) is accorded to the M/s Skyway RMC Plant Pvt Ltd (Anjur Phata,
Mankoli) to be used for construction works in CTP-15A Package, in terms of Sub Clause No – 3.3.1 of
Appendix 11 [Document Submission & Review Procedure] under Employer’s Requirement Bid
document volume –II
FIDIC Clause 5.2 is relevant in this context which specifies that any such approval or consent, or any
review shall not relieve the contractor from any obligation or responsibility. Subsequently if any errors,
mistakes, discrepancies are found after this NONO, the same will be rectified by the Contractor on his
own cost.

The Letter conveying Engineer’s approval has been drafted and is being put up for your consent and
review.
