On weekends, the kotamara is frequently used as a place to exercise. There will be a large crowd
watching the gymnastics on Sunday morning. There are also casual sports such as jogging around the
kotamara area. There are also people who play basketball in the afternoon. Kotamara can also be used
to practice karate, taekwondo, or other forms of self-defense. Because the area is large and scenic,
kotamara is frequently used for sports with family or friends.
Every afternoon, there will be a large number of people selling in the kotamara. They sell a wide range
of food and beverages. Fried meals, fried rice, meatballs, geprek chicken, sweet potato soup, and a
variety of other dishes are available. Saraba Susu, a traditional Buton drink made with ginger, milk, and
other spices, is also available. They also set up stands for kid-friendly activities like balloon palaces and
ball baths. A variety of meals and children's playgrounds help us and our family feel at ease when
traveling in the "kotamara."
The " Tanjung Kaobula Baths" are another aquatic attraction in Kotamara. This location is directly on the
beach in Kotamara. People usually visit this aquatic tourist attraction in the afternoons on weekends.
From infants to adults, people came to this location to bring their families. The "Tanjung Kaobula Baths"
are frequently visited by Baubau inhabitants due to its convenient position.
