Hydraulic services
Based from our purpose built design office
and workshop facilities, EnerMech Norson
offers a full range of hydraulic engineering
services, from FEED, through to manufacture,
installation and commissioning, and onto
maintenance, repair and overhaul. EnerMech
Norson provides a single source for complete
hydraulic engineering projects and solutions.
EnerMech Norson’s proven project
management and technical support skills
will ensure successful project completion, in
terms of budget and timescale.
System Design and Engineering
Our in-house design department works
closely with clients, which when combined
with our extensive experience in design of
specialist equipment for the Energy
Industries, allows us to fully understand
both stated and unmet needs.
The tailored nature of our engineering
operations allows us to work to a detailed
Functional Design Specification, or where
required, provide a detailed specification
on behalf of the client.
Project planning is documented and tracked
via standardised Project Planning software.
This enables EnerMech Norson’s schedule to
be seamlessly integrated into a client’s
overall schedule.
Dedicated project management ensures
schedules are maintained and provides a
single point of contact.
EnerMech Norson has extensive
experience in specialist standards that apply to
the offshore and energy industries, including
ATEX, Lloyds and DNV. We can provide full
design, liaison and certification services where
third party input is required, or integrate with
a client’s existing third party involvement.

Manufacture and Testing
EnerMech Norson’s product
distributorships provide the majority of
component needs and with our network of
approved suppliers we can supply a complete
range of hydraulic components from all major
hydraulic manufacturers to manufacture a
complete system.
In-house manufacturing is carried out by
highly skilled technicians, working closely
with engineers based at the same location.
With purpose built facilities, and experience
specific to hydraulic equipment manufacture,
component integrity is maintained through
the use of dedicated product assembly areas
and clean rooms.
Purpose built pressure testing and flushing
equipment located onsite allows for system
integrity to be assured prior to dispatch
and commissioning.
All equipment is tested prior to dispatch.
Test procedures can be either client defined
or prepared by EnerMech Norson.
Offshore and Site Operations
EnerMech Norson’s industry experienced
and qualified engineers and multi-skilled
technicians can be mobilised to site,
anywhere in the world. These industry

Pipe Work Services
EnerMech Norson offers a complete pipe
work installation package, including
specification, design, fabrication and
installation, flushing and testing.
Our pipe fitters are experienced in a wide
range of fitting systems, including both
welded and non-welded systems. They are
qualified in the installation of specific
connection types, from a wide range of
manufacturers, including the following:
• Single ferrule
• Twin ferrule
• Form
• 37 degree flare
Oil Flushing/Pressure Testing
Pressure testing and flushing services ensure
that the integrity of the pipe work installation
can be assured, and certified.
EnerMech Norson personnel are equipped
to provide pressure testing services to either
client or EnerMech Norson defined
specifications. Our flushing technicians are
trained not just in the operation of the
specialist flushing equipment, but also in the
philosophy of flushing. This comprehensive
understanding, combined with extensive
experience, contributes to a more effective
and efficient flushing process.
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul
EnerMech Norson’s modern workshop
facilities complete with purpose built
hydraulic test facility and clean room allow
testing and inspection of almost any piece of
hydraulic equipment. Repair and overhaul
could range from a simple pump or motor up
to large drill floor equipment or complex well
head control systems. With onsite
engineering support, inspection and
reporting is prompt and accurate, enabling
the client to be kept informed with
accurate and up-to-date information.
