Q1. Translate the following Urdu paragraph into English. (10)

The car market in Pakistan has come a long way in the last few years. The world’s largest molecular
companies have arrived in Pakistan. The main reason for this revolution is the foresight of last two
governments. It is estimated that about ten to fifteen new companies have arrived, most of them
from China, all this has benefited the waiting people of Pakistan.

Q2. Translate the following English paragraph into Urdu. )10)

In our education system, we need to improve the secondary education system before we start
criticizing the higher education system. It should be noted that students’ bases are built in the
schools and colleges and not in universities. Your ability to speak, write and comprehend basic
ideas of life shouldn’t be the responsibility of a university. A university’s aim should be to
inculcate critical thinking skills and impart a progressive approach to life. We should aim our
criticism at the lower echelons of education that would allow for higher education to focus on what
really matters.

‫ ہمیں اعلی تعلیمی نظام پر تنقید شروع کرنے سے پہلے ثانوی تعلیمی نظام کو بہتر کرنے کی‬،‫ہمارے تعلیمی نظام میں‬
‫ یونیورسٹیوں میں نہیں۔ آپ کی‬،‫ضرورت ہے۔ واضح رہے کہ طلبہ کے بنیاد اسکولوں اور کالجوں میں بنائی جاتی ہیں‬
