If there is not +24V at the starter ring terminals and component level failure is not found at test points 11-14, the next step is to check the on-engine wiring harness
and connections. See wiring diagram 4927796 or 4927284.

If unit starts locally but fails to start remotely, a jumper can be placed between LAD connections J13-6 & J13-7 to simulate a remote start. If unit starts with jumper in
place, failure is in Remote Start Circuit.

An open circuit on the Prelube Failure Stop should close to ground if the time between pressing the start button and achieving prelube satisfaction exceeds the time
setting on the Timing Delay Relay.

The circuits to be checked for continuity are polarity sensitive. Ensure the red (+) and black (-) leads of the meter are on the proper terminals as indicated above.

not reinstalled correctly.
