ORDER

THIS CAUSE, having come on to be heard on the Defendant’s Motion for an Evidentiary

Hearing seeking to conduct discovery on her claim of selective prosecution [MEC 10], and the

State of Mississippi’s Response in Opposition to same [MEC 17], in the above styled and

numbered cause, and the court, having heard argument and being fully advised on the premises

finds that the motion is not well taken, and is untimely sought, as any discovery on a claim of

selective prosecution is not proper at this time and should instead be conducted following the

conclusion of the prosecution; accordingly, the Defendant’s Motion for an Evidentiary Hearing

[MEC 10] is hereby denied.
