"I'm not ashamed", a heart touching movie.

Hello! I'm Hannah and I'm eighteen years old.  I love movies, and my favorite
is the romantic movies, but especially now, I want to talk about a movie that is
very special for me. It's not about a couple and a love's history, but it's a movie
with a history, really heart touching.

Well, the name of the movie is "I'm not ashamed" and its brazilian version is "A
life with purpose" and it's based on the true story of teenager Rachel Joy Scott,
the first victim of the columbine massacre. The movie was directed by Brian
Baugh and written by Philippa Boyens. It stars by Masey McLain. It filmed in the
United States of America. 

The movie is about the story of Rachel Scott and inspired in her diary. It's a
true history because this girl was the first to be killed in the columbine massacre
that happened on April 20, 1999. This was the biggest massacre in the United
States' and 13 people were killed. 

Rachel Joy Scott is one of the students at Columbine High School, but unlike
the others, she believes in the existence of God. Played by Masey McLain,
Rachel has some problems between assertive chippers about the impact she
can have on others, specially about her faith and a dark fear that she'll  never
quite fit in and have a friends' group at school.

While trying to maintain a life with God, she struggles a lot with a lot of
temptations. She needs to make choices, and all of them can have dire
consequences.

However, Rachel has so much light, that even with a complicated life, like a
normal teenager, wherever she goes, she manages to inspire people with her
words and her empathy. Some take a while to notice this, others don't. With her
love, Rachel transforms the lives of many colleagues, but there are also those
who are uncomfortable with her behavior. For this reason, something very sad
happens to her.
 Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris also are two students in columbines' high
school. They were bullied, and so they make a plan to kill all the students who,
for them, make the world bad. Rachel never did them any harm. 

However, because she believed in God and lived out her purpose of wanting
to help people, they killed her. And then, Rachel Scott was the first victim of this
terrible story and all the people that met her and all the people that went
transformed for her Life, felt bad with her death. 

Rachel died for living a life with God and for never denying what she
believed God. Although she knew that her behavior could upset some people,
she remained living her purpose, which was to help and love people.

This movie isn't only about an inspiring history. It's about a girl that  followed
Christ to the point of death, and her life story has touched millions of people.
She chose to live her purpose, and her choice transformed the life that many
people next to her. 

The purpose of Rachel was to give more love to people her around, She lived
what she believed and spoke about. What is your life purpose? Is  to have a Life
with God? Is teaching the people in a classroom?  Is to be a doctor to help other
people and give them a new chance to live? Is to have life through social
action? Is to have a beautiful family or go alone around in the world and meet
different things, places and people? A life without purpose is a Life without
sense. To live a life without purpose is to live without understanding the
importance of your role in people's lives. 

All the people need to meet their purpose and fight for it until the end, just like
Rachel did. Rachel Joy Scott’s story is a moving example of the difference just
one people can make in the lives of people around her when fulfil their
purpose. 
 The little Rachel lived until the end with the conviction that she believed. She
had a terrible and sad  finish, but she left with a legacy to all the people that
were met her.

Why? Only because she has chosen to be different. She was a woman with
courage and conviction in what she believed in. She used the uncertainties of
life as a confused teenager to be a better person and fulfill her mission. All
people need to live on purpose of it like that too.

Not long before she died, on one of the pages of her Diary, Rachel drew a
Picture of the one flower and an eye crying with thirteen tears. Exactly the same
number of people that died in the columbine massacre, including twelve
students and one teacher. She also drew an outline of her hands as a child in
her bedroom and wrote that one day she would touch millions of lives. She did.
Maybe Rachel knew that didn't have a future waiting for her, but she knew how
to enjoy her present and make her moment here on earth unique and
memorable.
