Session-1 CREATE AND APPLY STYLES IN THE DOCUMENT

Q1. What are styles? What are the advantages of using styles?
Answer :- A style is a set of formats that you can apply to selected pages, text, frames, and other elements in
your document to quickly change their appearance. When you apply a style, you apply a whole group of
formats at the same time.
A style is a set of text formatting characteristic, such as font size, color, and alignment. For example, a user
could select the "Heading 1" style to make the text larger, blue, and bold; all without having to apply each of
the different formatting characteristics individually. Also, the style can be adjusted at any time, which means
if you have several "Heading 1" type pages in your document, modifying that style changes the look of all your
headings automatically.
Advantages of using Style :-
• Styles application means easy Table of Contents generation. ...
• Styles cascade and so when you make one change to a document, changes done in whole

same style.
