Hobbit

I read a book that goes by the name of Hobbit, I am not sure if you ever heard
of it. It was written and published in 1937 by an English writer John Ronald
Reuel Tolkien. It is most suitable for teens. Interesting thing is that book got
banned multiple times in some countries most notable in Mexico in 2001,
because they thought that book worships satanic stuff and witchcraft
In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled
with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with
nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means
comfort.Whisked away from his comfortable, unambitious life in his hobbit-
hole by a wizard and a company of dwarves, Bilbo Baggins finds himself caught
up in a plot to raid the treasure hoard of a large and very dangerous dragon.
Maps. Line drawings.
I really liked the book, because its relatively short (at least it is shorter than the
movies), and I like those stuff. I found all of the characters to be interesting,
even if they did some stupid things throughout the book. I thought the story
line was interesting and I really loved the world that Tolkien has conjured up.
The book serves like a great introduction for the next instalment in the
franchise The lord of the rings.
