SOAL!

You are an HR Manager in five-star hotel. You want to recruit for all positions in the
housekeeping department, please state what positions are needed along with their job
qualifications.

Answer :

As a manager, I want to recruit employees in the floor supervisor section. Therefore,


the qualifications that must be met are as follows :

• Two (2) years experience in a similar position from International Chain Hotel.
• Strong leadership
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Innovative thinking.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks consistent with business objectives.

Besides the example above, most of the housekeeping qualifications are a housekeeper
should have excellent attention to detail and be able to follow through on all of their tasks.
They should be friendly and professional with the ability to recognize the personal boundaries
of working in someone’s living space and respecting their privacy. Good Housekeepers are not
squeamish about working with messes and find it satisfying to create a clean and welcoming
environment for their clients. They are tidy when they work and clean up after themselves as
they go to make a space hospitable even during the cleaning.
