The three given pie charts illustrate how much money was extended yearly by a school in the UK in

different years: 1981, 1991 and 2001.

Overall, while teacher’s wage consistently attracted the highest expenditure in these surveyed terms,
the other staffs’ salaries invariably accounted for the lowest figures. It is also clear that the spending on
furniture and equipment witnessed the most dramatic rise throughout this period.

The annual costs of lecturers’ salaries started at 40% in 1981, after which it experienced a growth to 50%
in 1950, before ending the period at 45%. The similar changes can be seen in the figures of medical
insurance, but to a lesser extent, which increased from 2% in the first year to 3% in 1991, followed by
8% in the next ten years.
