I had built a crash box for frontal and rear impact of a automotive vehicle. The design
which i built was able to absorb load higher by 50% and under go uniform buckling.
The purpose of this crash box was to absorb major amount of force which is

Considering my experience, I have faced two challenging engineering projects.

1.) Development of a Go Karting chassis Frame to withstand different load cases.

As a Design Engineer I have worked on Solid works Software for Design of plastic and sheet metal

& C++.

 Can you give us an example of a design that you found flaws in after testing?

1.) While working on Development of a Go Karting chassis Frame to withstand different load cases.
I initially designed the product and tested under different load and boundary conditions in which
the product is going to perform. When tested I found out various defects and faults in the initial
design. Product was not very well absorbing or performing to the load cases as expected.
Identifying facture and stress concentration regions where they where not expected. I had
detected all these flaws and optimized the design.
2.) When working on Testing & Optimization of materials and design of the Crash box. The initial
design was a rectangular shaped hallow tube with flat surface. In this design the buckling
deformation was not uniform and load absorption was not maximum. I had changed the
rectangular shape to hexagonal, pre grue on the flat surface so that it helps buckling deformation
to undergo smoothly and also filled the hallow portion with form material. By this change energy
absorption increased by 50%.

Optimization of the chassis frame using globally available materials and design considering lightweight,
strengths and weight distribution through Solid Works. I worked in trmn India, as an intern, in
engineering design for 1 year. worked with solid works and auto cad software. where i gained very good

Starting from my Bachelor's Degree I gained knowledge in Computer-aided Design (CAD) and
Computer-aided engineering (CAE). I Worked on building a 3D model, Assembly, and 2D sketches of
Universal Coupling, Connecting Road, Plumber Block, and Machine Vice Components. In my bachelor
thesis, I performed the Design, Structural Analysis, and optimization of the Go-karting Chassis frame. I
Successfully designed the chassis frame considering the design requirements using Solid works.
Performed Structural analysis to test our design under different loading conditions using ANSYS. As an
internship trainee, I worked for 1 year in TRMN India and gained experience in the design of plastic and

In my Bachelor thesis while designing the Go-karting Chassis frame, and during my internship trainee. I
have used Design principles for precision mechanisms to design and development various components.
Gained good knowledge and experience in design principles and how to implement these principles while
designing a component such as a Go-karting Chassis frame. Focusing on how to achieve an optimal
combination of Stiffness and Mass. Worked on all Six Degrees of freedom (DOF) and how to constrain
them to obtain the right motion. Controlling the DOF through Joints, couplings, Manipulators, and rigid
body constraints. Knowledge in Flexure, the design of elastic mechanisms to obtain a precise motion,
selectively reducing the stiffness to get the desired motion. The precision concerning friction in various
joints, drivers, and belt drivers to keep them safe under mechanical loading.

During my internship with TRMN India, I gained experience in general Machining Techniques and
various manufacturing processes for sheet metal and plastic components. Knowledge in Sheet meatal
processes such as forming, bending, cutting, punching, and drawing. Also, in manufacturing plastic
components through Extrusion, Injection molding, and Vacuum casting. Worked as a junior engineer in
S.V Technologies for 1 year in the production of Hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder components using
CNC programming.

I was responsible for detailed sketching of the product design including Geometrical dimensions and
tolerance. Submitting the final sketch to the production and other departments. Performed 2D sketches of
various components including part numbering, quantity, dimensions with the standard unit system,
mentioning the preferred tolerance for specific parts, and different views of the component including cut
sections in my internship with TRMN India. I had also studied the Geometrical dimension and tolerance

Respected Sir,

I am writing this letter as feedback on the company's decision to change the work timing for the Body and
Paint section at Tesla Giga Berlin.

I think changing the work timings of the Body and paint section is an intelligent move by the company to
force workers indirectly to work overtime. You know that most of your employees stay in berlin city and
depend on public transport to reach the workplace as all cannot offer a vehicle. Considering the old
schedule, the early shift workers were starting their work at 6:30 AM, this was a perfect schedule because
we can take the 5:39 AM train from berlin and reach our workplace by 6:15 AM and start work at 6:30
AM. According to the new schedule, we are supposed to start our work at 6:00 AM for this we have to
take the first train which is leaving berlin at 4:36 AM and reach the workplace at 5:15 AM, in Which
either we will have to just wait for 45 minutes (until 6:00 AM) to start the work or we have to start at 5:30
AM. People think why to waste time by just simply sitting rather work extra. This is your intelligent
move to force workers to work overtime. Before making this decision, you should have checked if proper
transportation is available for workers who depend on public transport. We don’t have an “RE” train
between 4:36 AM and 5:39 AM which is scheduled every half an hour. We generally spend 1:15 hrs on
traveling one side (for two ways we spend 2:30 hrs in travel) and 8:00 hrs at work. In total, we are
spending our precious 10:30 hrs for the organization on top of this you change the schedule and make us
spend extra time just waiting to start our work, waiting for the train, or working extra hours.
This is the same happening who end their late shift at 10:06 PM because he has to wait for 1 hr in the
train station to catch their first connection after work to berlin. People who end their shift at 10:06 PM
and 10:36 PM will be taking the same train then there is no use in finishing early at 10:06 PM.
Automatically you will be forced to work extra instead of waiting outside in the cold for his/her train.

I don’t know whether you were aware of this information (No public transportation) before coming up
with this decision. I believe that there are many other ways we can improve efficiency by working
together to achieve our common goals without disturbing the schedule.
