Module Aim
This module serves as an advanced course to Electrical Principles 
and provides an in‐depth coverage on AC circuit analysis and 
fundamentals of semiconductor devices and their applications. 

At the end of the module, the students should meet the 
following objectives:

• Possessing a solid foundation when dealing with basic 
electrical and electronic circuits essential for the 
understanding and synthesis of more complex electrical & 
electronic networks in their later course of studies and work
• Capable of applying their knowledge to solve circuit problems 
relating to fundamental issues
• Be proficient in the use of basic equipment like function 
generator and oscilloscope.

The Ground Rules
