FIFA Trial Form

In line with article 19ter of the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players, the club and the
player invited to trial (hereinafter: triallist) shall agree on the conditions of the trial on the FIFA Trial Form
before the trial commences. A complete and duly signed FIFA Trial Form shall be lodged in FIFA TMS by
the club latest ten days before the trial commences.

*The maximum duration of a trial for players aged 21 and below shall be 8 weeks per club,
consecutive or non-consecutive, in any one season. The maximum duration of a trial for players over
the age of 21 shall be 3 weeks per club, consecutive or non-consecutive, in any one season.

 Conditions of the trial
*During a trial, the club owes a duty of care to the triallist. In particular, the club shall provide the triallist
with, and cover the cost of, any necessary medical treatment for injuries sustained while performing
activities within the trial.

 Additional conditions specific to minor triallists only
*A minor may only trial with a club provided that the club fulfils the following conditions prior to the
commencement of the trial.

 General Provisions
By certifying below, the club and the triallist hereby acknowledge to have completely read the FIFA Trial
Form.

In particular, the club and the triallist agree and/or acknowledge the following:

(22) That the trial, in and of itself, does not:

i. create an employment relationship between the club and the triallist; and/or
ii. grant professional status to the triallist (cf. article 2 of the Regulations on the Status and Transfer
of Players)
(23) That failure to comply with the conditions of the trial agreed in the form will result in disciplinary
proceedings in accordance with the FIFA Disciplinary Code. In such proceedings, both the triallist
and the concerned club will have the procedural status of a party before the Disciplinary
Committee.
(24) That a written complaint must be made for the commencement of disciplinary proceedings in
relation to the failure to comply with the conditions of the trial agreed in the form.

(25) During a trial, the club owes a duty of care to the triallist. In particular, the club shall provide the
triallist with, and cover the cost of, any necessary medical treatment for injuries sustained while
performing activities within the trial.
(26) Clubs are not entitled to receive training rewards for the period during which a player is on trial.
