Renewable energy

Tushar choudhar claims, “Over 40% of the global population does not have the luxury
to worry about future problems because they are presently struggling to meet their basic
everyday needs.”

Renewable energy is energy from sources that are naturally replenishing but flow-limited,
renewable resources are virtually inexhaustible in duration but limited in the amount of
energy that is available per unit of time.

Renewable energy sources vary between each other in properties or sources.
including Solar, Wind, Biomass.

Solar energy
The most well-known renewable source.
Generated from the sun and converted into energy by technological gadgets.
It is an absolutely simple and reliable source that can be acquired from anywhere
because it is widely available. It may be a bit expensive and needs maintenance and care
to work efficiently. No need to mention that relying on sunlight may not be a good choice
for people who live in places where it is barely shining.

Wind energy
When the wind moves the turbines in cycles, it generates energy.
It is one of the cleanest forms of renewable energy. It can be installed and forgotten due
to the lack of maintenance it needs. But it is not as easy as we thought because of the
high price and high risk to wildlife may cause more problems for us to deal with.

Biomass energy
Plant-based materials are used as fuel to produce heat or electricity.
It is cheap and widely available. The problem with it is that it can lead to deforestation and
is inefficient due to low electricity production.

From my perspective, solar energy has the best potential in our region. Its advantages
make it easy to install on a large scale to help with energy problems. Everyone can
acquire one and place it on their roof or backyard, which makes it simple and practical,
unlike the other sources which require a place specifically designed for it. And the sun is
always out in clear skies most of the year, which makes it efficient and reliable.
