Using Punch EQ Feature


Push the Punch EQ button to set the desired level of bass sound. The
level of sound is indicated by the color of the Punch EQ button

Using Stereo AUX Jack


1. Turn the volume down all the way using the on/off volume control
knob. This is to prevent speaker blowout.
2. Plug the auxiliary device into the Stereo AUX jack.
3. Press MODE button until "AUX" appears in the bottom left corner of
the display window.

Finding Stations
Selecting Band:
Push the MODE button to select AM, FM, or weather band before tuning.

Manual Tuning:
Turn the tuning knob right or left until it clicks to step through stations on
the current frequency band.

Auto Seek Tuning:


Turn the tuning knob slightly and hold for one (1) second or more. The
radio automatically tunes to the nearest station on the current frequency
band. Turn the tuning knob clockwise to go up on the band frequency,
counterclockwise to go down on the band frequency.

ranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. MILWAUKEE

tool (including battery chargers) which examination proves to be defec-
tive in material or workmanship from five (5) years after the date of
purchase. Return the tool and a copy of the purchase receipt or other
proof of purchase to a MILWAUKEE Factory Service/Sales Support
Branch location or MILWAUKEE Authorized Service Station, freight pre-
paid and insured. This warranty does not cover damage from repairs
made or attempted by other than MILWAUKEE authorized personnel,
abuse, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or accidents.
Battery Packs, Flashlights, and Radios are warranted for one (1) year
from the date of purchase.
THE REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT REMEDIES DESCRIBED HEREIN ARE
EXCLUSIVE. IN NO EVENT SHALL MILWAUKEE BE LIABLE FOR ANY
INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING
LOSS OF PROFITS.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRAN-

SAFETY NOTE: Before opening the unit, disconnect all power sources
(120 volt cord and/or battery pack and AA batteries) and turn on the power
switch momentarily to discharge stored energy.

BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
NOTE: Before opening the unit or soldering, disconnect ALL power sources. Turn
the power switch "on" momentarily to discharge stored energy.

Radio operates on DC but not on AC:


1. Plug in radio and using a voltmeter, check for DC voltage across items #14
and #15 shown on the wiring diagram. (Approx. 15-22 Vdc).
2. If there is no voltage, change the Transformer Assembly (23-81-0545).
3. If voltage is present, continue to "All other electrical issues" shown below.

All other electrical issues


1. Disconnect the LCD Assembly (22-09-1575) from the Speaker PCB
Assembly (22-09-1549) by disconnecting items #11, #13 and #20 on the
wiring diagram.
2. Plug a new LCD Assembly into the Speaker PCB Assembly and check for
proper operation.
3. If the radio works, the LCD Assembly is bad. If the radio still does not NOTE: All screws should be HAND TIGHTENED.
function correctly, replace the Speaker PCB Assembly or Volume Control Do not over tighten screws. Over tightening screws
